Shelby Thompson on the hunt for another W!
Our Montana 200 was a race to remember, 2023 Montana 200 winner Shelby Thompson drove several hours to race in car #5 for his friend Jess Havens'. Havens had hurt himself and felt that he was not able to drive so Thompson came without hesitation. After an amazing race Shelby came out victorious This weekend he will be headed to Hermiston Raceway for the "Labor Day Spectacular presented by IBEW Local 112" on September 2nd, looking to score his fourth Northwest Super Late Model Series presented by RaceCals career victory. Thompson scored victories in each of the series' first three seasons, two at the Wenatchee Valley Super-Oval and one at Yakima Speedway in the "Apple Cup". Thompson will be driving the #54 Racing Dynamiks car, he drive this car to win at MVSO for the Hot August Nights event.
